Executives and Management Development Training for the privately owned sector.

A 360-degree view from an outsider perspective will help you to identify more business opportunities as well as the blind spots, avoiding costly mistakes

To help them spot prey, chameleons possess eyes that operate separately from each other and swivel around, providing a 360-degree view. When they are ready to strike, they turn both eyes onto there prey so that they can gauge depth and distance accurately.

When you own a business, you spend a lot of time IN it so it becomes a bit difficult to have that 360-degree view and keep the focus on the actions required to achieve your goals. Sometimes you know what to do but need some accountability, sometimes you just want someone impartial to bounce some ideas with, sometimes you just need to express some fears and doubts and receive some encouragement to get back on track.

They include: interpersonal skills, ability to motivate, communication and listening, complex problem solving, effective decision making, emotional intelligence and empathy, visionary leadership, trust and delegation, ownership and accountability. It also helps you to have a “soundboard”, someone you can bounce ideas with and ask those questions you can’t ask anyone else.

Yearly Strategic Thinking & Planning sessions – “Failing to plan is planning to fail” Benjamin Franklin famously quoted and it is so true. Setting time aside with your management team to plan your business “destination” over the next 12 months is essential for every organisation. Having an outsider to facilitate this meeting, allows you, the leader, to be part of it rather than chairing it. It also provides a practical structure to ensure every aspect is reviewed so that you can have a solid business plan in the place for the year ahead.

The sessions are typically conducted over one or two days, off site, in person.

Quarterly Priority and Execution sessions – Once your 12 month goals are set, you meet again on a quarterly basis to review the progress made, the milestones achieved, the changes that have happened, making sure you are still on track and if something needs to be amended, it will be discussed. Having an outsider to facilitate the meeting, ensures for accountability, does not let you “get away” with what is supposed to have happened but also helps with any obstacles on the way.

The sessions are typically conducted over one or two days, off site, in person.

Effectiveness of the Management Team and the Board – having an outsider to facilitate your monthly or quarterly meetings helps with the decision making process, ensures that meetings don’t revolve just around issues but that opportunities are identified, meetings become outcome driven, actions are agreed and execution takes place; it also ensures that the tough questions are asked and frank conversations are happening in order for the organisation to move forward with all the necessary information.

The sessions are typically conducted over one or two days, off site, in person.

The test is done online and the debriefing takes place in a group environment, online, over a 2 hours session.
